Hey everyone, I'm Jon. I'm from the Sacramento area and I just recently purchased a 1967 numbers matching 383, Satellite. Auto, PS PB. The cars original color though was gold poly (ZZ1) with a black (BB1) roof and argent silver(dx8558) lower doors. It is a completely stock car that has been partially restored and the motor rebuilt with no performance mods whatsoever. There are a few things I want to do to make it my own and give it some more power and performance but right now I'm just saving my pennies and trying to get it all figured out.

I'm new to the Mopar scene and for the past few weeks I've been lurking around FBBO trying to learn what I can and hopefully soon I will come up with a game plan. For now though I'm enjoying the car, enjoying hours of reading and learning on FBBO and enjoying talking Mopar to people I run into on cruises.

Hopefully Ill run into some of you out there.

Wow and Welcome to FBBO. She is definitely a beauty. We don't usually see those kinds of pics on the average purchase. Did you buy her from a specialty broker?

Beautiful car. Welcome. Where was the photo op?

Beautiful car. Welcome. Where was the photo op?

Thanks a lot guys. I bought the car from a consignment dealer in Milpitas. They are in a huge warehouse with a polished floor and they have a spot in the corner where they do the photo-shoots for their cars that is nicely lit and the wall is painted like a backdrop.

Awesome photo-shoot but I couldn't get them to hand over the high resolution photos that I'm sure the photographer had. I had to copy these pictures from their website.

Very nice car . . . Welcome to the madness of FBBO !

Hi
Great car!
Wow, speechless.
Looks like it belongs in a museum!

Welcome aboard and thanks for joining the Forum!

Beautiful 67, love the color. what size are those wheels and tires?

DUDE!!! That car is gorgeous!!! I am from Sacramento. Cap City Mopars meets 1st Tuesday of the month at the Calif Car Museum on Front Street.
This Sunday is Mopar only day at Sac Raceway. Many of the members will be there and we ALL would love to check that car out up close!
Look for me if you come out, I'll have the GTX in my avatar

Thanks to everybody for the positive comments and for welcoming me to FBBO.

Thanks. I really like that blue also. Still kind of on the fence about the silver though(more like a dull gray).

The tires are 235/60-15 on all four corners. I'm not exactly sure how wide the wheels are.

Thanks Darius, I just found out about that event this morning. Unfortunately I have other plans made for Sunday but I would really like to check it out so I'm going to try to make it over there if at all possible. I will definitely look you up if I make it out.

Beautiful car and beautiful color. I would freshen up the dash bezel and glove box chrome, any missing knob stainless centers, the cracked steering wheel, and call it done.

That is a nice looking car! I'm a big fan of the Western Scroll interior. IMO one of the coolest muscle car era interior patterns.

Beautiful Satty

I lived out in Rancho Murieta for 10 or so years

Welcome to FBBO, best Mopar & B-Body site on the -WWW-

Very nice satellite, hope my 67 GTX looks that good some day.:icon_thumright:
