Just picked up two 4 lane tracks . Plan is to set up a oval and a road course at Le Garage. All work and no play ...

Not since about 1968.

Nice...I have a few sets but no place to set them up...My poor kids never got to run slot cars...yet

HO scale? Got about 80 ft. of track and a few cars and no place yet to set it up just maybe by the time great grand son is old enough may have it setup and going. Think that gives me about 7 or 8 years.

Your giving away your age Dennis LOL.. I was big into them as a kid. I use to rewind my motors and i recall the controller getting so hot you couldn't hold it. later on i got a gig setup and started to build my own frames. There were a few tracks and i recall them well. It was a great hobby for a young person. Not like the stuff kids have today. I think we had it better

This stuff is a ton of fun. Couple friends with some beers on board to bring out their inner 13 year old... guys were already talking out mods to make 'em handle better and go faster. And this was on a school, well work night. Can't wait for Sat. . Going to need to plan a BBQ and some 25 lap sprints. Wives are going to have another reason to hate me.

I have the Carrera 1/32 digital slots. Digital controls signal the car though the track which is at full power all the time. You can even change lanes! The brake lights even turn on when you let off. The nice part is with small children you can set max speed so the cars don't fly off the track. You can also set braking. How about a car the you set to run by itself. Yep that too!

with a pit stop addition the cars will mimic running out of fuel you so you have to stop in the pits to get full speed again. It endless fun

i've got the Carrera 1/32 scale track too, with several cars, and lots of added track. i've mastered drifting around the corners with my 70 Roadrunner! lots of fun and extremely reliable.

A group of us do HO Drag Racing, 22' TKO track, 16.5' timed length. Have a timing system, 13-24 volts with battery chargers to boost the volts and amps. Getting ready to start back up for Fall- Winter. Here are couple links.
