Bought the car pretty much done, put a new stall speed, changed some of the plumbing, got a 6 Deuce Drag Star manifold running 6 94's that is going on in Oct. The hood was in primer but not louvered found a local guy that had the dies and took the hood to him. After getting the hood louvered fit it on the car, had to loosen the front clip and push it back a little to get the fit right, painted it, put the clips on out of view to hold the hood. Located the hood trim at Fat Fender Relics in Oregon and finished it off...
The car looks great. Hood does finish the look. I have a 40 Ford with a 392 and running without the hood. After seeing yours I'm thinking about putting mine back on.
