My buddy and I cruised up towards the Canadian border to Gates Salvage yard to check it out and we stopped by Bruce's place along the way. Here's some pics....

Great PIC's! ...... with a little time and no effort the weeds will swallow up those cars up on the bus.

WHOA . . . I'm getting a serious case of vertigo with the orientation of those photos in this thread . . . .

Great photos
BUT it Sad really to see all that American steel just rotting away

His deal is this,....Unlike DVAP and those guys Bruce has cars that are complete. Some of them start, run and drive. He bulks at selling parts off of these cars because they are complete. He has literally thousands of parts already pulled in every space inside his house or in school buses. Those parts he will sell, but, he does know what they are worth and wont do any favors or ship. He will sell the cars complete. Or, he will sell the whole place. That said, yes, he will likely die before anyone buys the lot. He has had the EPA out to test the soil and got a passing grade. There is no salvage yard that has the parts he does. You have to see it to believe it.

I will ask him about any car, or part you all want me to. If he will sell it, or them, I will be glad to arrange shipping for parts and help with whole cars. You want a 70 R/T? He has one, complete. 70 Satellite, yup, 66 GTO, you, ^& GTO yup, 71 Runner, yup, 64 Belve, yup, 65 Dart, yup , 66 Superfish, yup. Complete motors, yes, every kind and type of intake, tunnel ram, Hilborn injection, rare parts and setups, want a base for a MOPAR six=pack, has it. All the rest of the parts for it, yup, air grabbers, yup. Every kind and type , or size of chrome and steel and aluminum wheel, dozens of fan shrouds, radiators , hundreds of carbs, and sets of carbs numbers matching. Whole buses full of 60's and 70's tail light bezels and lenses, wheel opening trim, side trim, a room full of shift consoles, heads, valve covers, timing covers, bellhousings, trannys, shifters, seats, interior goods, glass, trim, axles, grilles, body panels and hoods.

He wont give them away, but he will sell parts. or whole cars. Let me know if I can help. I'll make a list and go by there and see.

Cool stuff!! And thanks Snake for turning Ghost's head right!

I know a couple of guys like this. They got so used to folks begging them for parts, and getting whatever prices they demanded, for the better part of 30 years that they think the gravy train is just gonna keep going on forever and don't notice it stopped a few years ago.

I got this lecture just a couple of weeks ago from one of these guys who had an oil pan I was looking for. "120 bucks and not a damn dime less. I know what this thing is worth!" Found another one a week later for $10. Last time before this I talked to him he was trying to sell me two 15" Rallyes for $250 each. Same deal "... I know what they are worth!" Bought four a couple weeks later for $200 all in. I don't even talk to the guy anymore because I know it's not worth the time. He still thinks there's a line of people waiting to pay his price and I've yet to find any part that he has that I can't get much cheaper some where else.
