On my 69 RR build i decided to get a new dash harness from Year One as its the M&H harness that's highly recommended. The issue I'm running into is they are back ordered and they have no ETA on shipment. The closest they could guess would be November. I need to desperately get this car done and running before the snow flies up here in the north. My question is does anyone make a decent harness that i can get like...yesterday? Or Does anyone happen to have a new harness they wanna part with? Thanks!

Try the auction sites to see if anyone is selling the one you need.

When I ordered mine fro Year One, it was also back ordered. Much to my surprise, it came in quicker than expected.... Good Luck!

Hopefully that's the case for me too. Maybe Yearone just orders them as needed. I'm determined to get this thing back home where she belongs before the nasty weather sets in.

You can buy YearOne's (M&H) harnesses through Classic Industries.

I was told ETA at the end of Sept to mid Oct from both places.

Thanks Car Nut, for some reason they couldn't give me a lead time. Appreciated!

M&H appears to be extremely far behind. I've talked to both M&H directly and Year One numerous times lately trying to get information on the dash harness I ordered. I last called Year One the other day. They told me that if you order one today they will tell you it will take 18 weeks. I've been waiting nearly 8 months...

Whoa, 18 weeks?! Yeesh, if that's the case I'm putting in the old crusty one in and crossing my fingers. What harness was it you were waiting for 6T8GTX?

I'm waiting on a dash harness for a '68. It's been just under 8 months since I placed my order. M&H builds each harness by hand, I guess, and doesn't make them until an order comes in. I would think the harnesses are pretty similar between the '68s and '69s but Year One does show different part numbers for each. Maybe you could get one faster...

Same thing happened to me with Year One (M&H) harness for my 72 Challenger. I needed it and did not want to wait. So I called M&H direct and the young man went through a 73 Challenger Harness with me piece by piece to see if it would work. Only one thing was off and it was not a biggie to me. They had plenty of the 73 Harnesses. So maybe you could check for 68/69 GTX too. Just a thought.

Mega Parts builds a wiring harness for the 69 B Body standard dash as well as for other models. The part number is 124-HU271B for the 69.

Interesting, HU271B is a YearOne part number.
