I've seen people do this, personally I like it to flush and clean. It's all personal pref, I say it's a good look. WELL DONE
 
looks good!

just be careful you dont "tap" (or get tapped) anything with the front or rear, cuz body work will get wrinkled.
 
I love how the back looks. Very well put together and like earlier, flushed!

I do have one crit even though its probably just a mock. What are you going to do with the gap between the valence and the front bumper? Kind of looks abnormal per se.

I am going to cover it following the bumper shape and I'll keep clear the center section to grab fresh air for radiator.
 
Look at rebootej's build he did that as will and it looks good
