The stripes are painted on .... NO DECALS I have more pix if your interested , I am considering selling the car now that it is complete, I have another project I'm working on right now.

More pictures please and how much let's get some more details I may be interested in it

Sweet!

Good choice, painted stripes last longer.

What's your other project?

How rare would a 74 charger with a 440 be?

I'm not sure how rare a 74 440HP truly was when built, I have read (internet) that only 208 were produced. Don't know how many have survived through the years, I have the build sheet & vin plate from this car. If you want to see more pix please pm with a working email addy and I will happily respond. As of now I have about 16,500 invested in this car. I am building a 72 challenger with 440HP with old & new technologies as it's not an all numbers matching car, thanks for the kind comments guys I do appreciate them :)

The 440 is fairly rare in a 74 charger but by 74 it was producing as much h.p. as a 70 318 . So wasn't worth it to most guys it was not the strongest eng the 340 would walk around a 440 car yes the numbers say otherwise but as always dodge fudged a few things the 340's were monster's and way lighter but as far as value it's not going to add much to a regular price it's just got the cool factor "I have a 440"
