When I got my charger, it was already on a rotisserie. The agreement was to use it for a while, then return it. Well, he needs it back so I need to unload the charger. The rotisserie was homebuilt (very well I might add), but it has no lifting jacks to load/unload the body. I have access to a tractor with some forks, but I’m not sure they are long enough to safely reach all the way under the body. I also have an engine hoist and can borrow another if there is a good way of using those. The body will be placed on safety stands in my garage until I get all the suspension bolts gathered (previous owner boxed all the bolts so this whole car will be a puzzle to assemble). You guys have a lot of knowledge so will you share some ways to remove a car from a rotisserie?

Get some friends over. Most shells can be lifted and set down on pre installed dollies/wheels.

My rotisserie has hydraulics, but I needed to load the shell on a flat trailer to go to the stripper. 6 guys handled it easily.

You can get square tubing steel to place on the forks for extensions. You'll need to hook a chain to them around the cow guard to prevent from slipping off. They sell fork extensions, but there're not cheap. If you need help with manual labor, I live in northern Utah.

Got it off the rotisserie. Ended up using two engine hoists. The car, and the newly installed subframe connectors are all epoxy primed, and ready for the suspension to go back on.IMG_3949.jpg
