What did you do to your Mopar today?

Again not the roadrunner but the pickup.installed heater core and new dash. IMG_20151017_150733816.jpg

Fired up the cut off wheel and sectioned the quarter extension tail light shape to make the slot square instead of angled together towards the inside end of the stock tail lights. This will allow the 66 Charger lights to set flat up against the bottom of the slot. Recessed if you will. I have not decided which lights to use yet, the 68' Cougar or the 66' Charger ones, either way the slot is the same. I had to slice off the outside 1/4 inch all the way around the edges of the 68'Cougar light bezels to fit the slot. I'll sand them down and when I repaint the black it will be covered up. Lots of fooling around but it's interesting stuff. I gotta say i'm kinda digging the 68 lights on there...

Got new half frame rails sitting in place with the spring perches welded on. Welded the rear cross member panel to frame ends. Also repaired inside lower edge of inner wheel house.

Still working on the build . . .

The Hemi is finally in the car . . . now I'm working on getting the transmission in the car to finish up the tunnel hump fitment . . .

Still gotta get a little more clearance around the transmission at the firewall . . .

But it's progressing nicely . . . I think . . .

That makes the camber adjustment REAL easy!

Seriously what a sweet ride that will be when you're done.

Alright . . . Yet another convertible on this site ! ! ! We can always use a couple more of them here - if we can find anymore that can be saved ! ! ! ! !

Started fabbing the trans-cooler lines for the NAG1 in the `cuda.

Last night went and picked up the 833 4- speed and bell housing for my 70, he even gave me a hurst shifter to go with it.

We tucked away the 67 and 73 for their winter's nap today. They're all bundled up and put away until spring. :sleepy2:
Hopefully the last year I'll have to do this as our garage project should start spring of 16.

My Sport Satellite is having a new M&H Dash Wiring Harness installed along with a rebuilt AM Radio, Redi-Rad connector and a Portable Sirius Radio installed.

tail extensions...

Sawed up the right tail extension today to get the width right for the light panel and to shape the end to the arrow shape of the 66 T Bird lights. Now I'm looking at fiberglassing the extension and using that as a mold to lay glass for the one that goes on the car. Pics...

I covered mine up in the shop for the winter and now it`s a spare bench!

Well walked by my car on the way to the beer fridge and said to myself 10 years and still not finished, so i did nothing..Again
Lets see what happens tomorrow. Just maybe..

Last weekend, took off the Trunk, Rear Bumper and put a refinish on the Rear Door/side panels. Also bought some Black Carpet, that did not match, :-( for the Door Panels and the Console edges. So, back to the drawing board for that one. Got some GREAT parts sent to me mid week to get cleaned up to be ready when I need them. OH, broke the driver's side rear tail light bucket tabs, so ordered an Old Stock replacement for that (thanks J). Trying to keep up with the parts clean up as we go. OOOOh, took off the Steering wheel and some of that stuff. Sassy's Black Steering wheel is pretty broken up. Will likely end up being a Wall Hanger in the end.

Best to the group. You folks are GREAT!!

Stared with longing into the engine bay for over a minute with my eyes closed....opened eyes and the 2 barrel 383 was still there. Those Mopar elves must have gone south for the winter and left ME to do all the work!

I bought ALL of the Wiring harnesses for my 69 Sport Satellite. All of my Engine upgrades will be installed on December 1. Then it is off to be finished at the Body shop. Thanks to Nacho and Stuart, I will have the trunk finish panel, that is needed as the last part for the resto mods.

been busy!

WIN_20151119_181629.jpgGot a head start on my winter to do list. Replaced rear main seal, got tired of the wet spot under the car. Next bought a used instrument panel from fellow member. Replaced temp gauge and printed circuit board now all gauges and dash lights work, yahoo! Last determined that the reverse détent ball was missing causing trans not to shift into second. Replaced it seams to be shifting fine now. Can't say it enough how helpful this site is. ThanksWIN_20151119_181247.jpg
