Or more specifically... what all has to swap from my 78 monaco, to go to the 75 single beam headlight?

Headlights, and buckets obviously. I assume the grille? Hopefully not the fenders? Are these parts impossible to find?

Thanks guys!

So does no one know? Or do I have the last B body monaco that isn't touring the country with an orange charger?

Can't help with the conversion, but I might be interested in the quad square setup if you get it done.

thanks!! will keep you in mind.

If the fenders need to go too...I'll probably stick with what i got.
Trying to get away from the 77 monte carlo look...in favor of the 71 monte carlo look lol

Appears as the front grille surround would need changed out, but that the fenders and bumpers would remain unchanged.

i would imagine finding that setup is pretty rare. looks to be 75-76 plymouth only.

The front clip are interchangeable as long as both car (the donor and the receiver) are the same body style
Fury,Monaco,Coronet 2 headlights to quads same with the Cordoba and Charger

The front clip is a one piece fiber glass attached from the inside of the frt fenders and a couple of brackets
if you swap the quad to the 2 headlights you will need to modified the plug/wiring to make sure the low and high beam work properly (pretty easy to do without cutting the plugs I know I did it!)

you are my hero, thank you!!!

so the front fascia is fiberglass? would have never figured.

So i guess i need to post in the WTB section looking for the grille, grille surround, and headlights/buckets from a 75-76 fury or RR? mine is a 1978, looks just like the quad headlights you posted above. so i assume all would changeover ok?

You will need to replace the whole front clip/facia since the design is different from the 2 to the quad

Why do i need to change the bumper? to make it a "correct" 75 roadrunner? ( don't really care about that at all) or because the bumper doesn't fit?

You keep the same bumper !

The Dodge Coronet has the blinkers in the bumper the Plymouth Fury in the grill this is the differences between both model
only in 77-78 Plymouth ended up with the Coronet bumper style and a plain grill no blinker

Bad decision IMO since from 77 the Plymouth look like a Coronet with a frt end a la Monte Carlo!!!

You only change the front clip from quad to 2 round headlight and swap the grill back from the the quad front clip.

Thanks again. I may have found one at a bone yard. My bumper does have the lights. But I have no problem just making them, or the grille lights, driving lights

is that RR badge attached to the grille? or is it an add on to the regular fury grille?

All the 75-76 Fury use the same grill they both have 2 holes on the left to fix the little Bird

So no actual difference from a rr to a fury grille. Besides the bird of course...which can attach to either?

Yes! Both the same grill 75-76 only in 77-78 they switch for the quad lights and different grill with the "Plymouth" molded at the top the whole width of the grill .

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm searching very hard for the pieces parts. I actually found an entire header panel for $75....with grille and all. but i have to be patient and convince the guy to ship it, as it's not local. wildcat in oregon has a couple, but they want $500 for one with a cracked grille...NOT HAPPENING... i paid $1800 for this car..so lets be real.
The c body graveyard in tiffin oh (somewhat local to me) actually has the header, lights, and trim buckets, but no grille...so i'm praying the $75 one comes through. I'm going to eliminate the bumperettes, and leave the foglights in the bumper that my 77 had. It'll be an interesting car thats for sure. And will certainly look better than the 77. It's not like i'm trying to pass off a 70 satellite as a hemi roadrunner... i just want to do this car on the cheap, and make it a cool street machine.

Nice photoshop! LOL

This is my "Bird" after restautration
Mind you a "clone bird" since up here they where few and far between who survive the harsh weather in the Great White North!

i don't think there are too many around period! my 78 monaco came from georgia. Cars up here in ohio didn't fare to well, and the nasty winter chemicals they put on the roads now have new cars rusting after their first winter!

VERY NICE BY THE WAY. Same color as mine almost.
