Dash lights not working

I believe you have multiple problems Does this car have two PC boards on the cluster?

This I believe gets right back to cluster maintenance

Again, make certain you have a cluster ground wire, which must be added

Check and refurbish the PC board connector pins.

Check and retighten the gauge nuts. Treat the gauges as and "end to end system." If, let's say, one gauge like temp seems to work, but the say, fuel.......does not, then you know that the IVR is getting power. But is it getting power TO the second gauge. In this example, might be broken / burned board traces, loose gauge nuts, bad connection(s) in the sender wire, or a bad sender.

Lights dim? You mean dash lights? Again, check voltage at the fuse box in the inst. fuse. That voltage will vary as the dimmer control is rotated. You should be able "twisted to the left" to have nearly same as battery power. There is only one orange leading up to the cluster.

Don't discount, that as old as these girls are it could be clouded / discolored / greasy dirty plastic parts in the cluster........the diffuser caps, etc.

Really, really, you need to get the cluster out and checked out and working "on the bench."

I got a 1969 Roadrunner it has been sitting and trying to get it back to where it should be. The dash lights are not working. A few of the sockets were broken so I replaced all of the sockets and bulbs and none of the dash lights work. My head lights high and low work taillights work turn signals work windshield wipers and dome light work. I replaced all of the fuses and nothing. I tested at the fuse block and I am not getting power to the 3.5a fuse. Where should I go to next?
I had the same issue. After checking all wiring and upgrading circuit board on cluster, I replaced twist locks on each bulb. They are 5/8” size. Even with that, they didn’t work until I bent twist lock contacts down for tighter fit. Doing that, they immediately started to work one by one. Using all LED lights too!
