went with original color frosty green metallic,

Very cool car my friend and great save too!

Did it have bench seats originally? I really like the 70 RR buckets.

An RM code with a standard dash...... hmmmmmm.

Now I'm just curious..... Is that the original dash cluster?

They might not have built your car to spec per your other thread. The guys at the plant were often faced with temporary parts shortages which lead to a great many factory correct odd balls which might explain yours.

I can't imagine taking out a ralley cluster, pulling out the harness for it, replacing the harness to work the more limited guages, changing out the oil pressure sender to a pressure sensor just to make your car unique by the previous owner... Or it could be they just just built it that way at the factory... It could be a one of one!!!

Now that I'm sensitive to it, I'll look at every 74 from now on differently!

Thanks for the post.... And the pictures!

Sweet RR bro. The before and after pics are a nice touch for this thread.

View attachment 288406View attachment 288407I Asked in another thread about the dash because a guy told me it wasn't a real RR because of non rallye dash, I'm assuming that at one point the dash was replaced here's pic of vin# and Fender Tag Definitely a RR

Great color combo, I'd had a love of fun with that car. I'm a long time MSU spartan fan and my daughter is in her second year there. It would fit in nicely around here.

as you probably know it's next to impossible to find sheet metal for a 73 or 74 especially quarters, I got 2 quarters off a donor car from new mexico but they were rough, I used front and rear lower patches from AMD, the front patch is from a 72 and required a little work to get the lip to line up,but they worked fine also used rockers for a 72 from sheerwood ,but I had to modify a bit to fit well, every thing else I had to fab
