My friend with the 67 Charger got in a bind with his now ex-GF. She was gonna have his 67 hauled off as well as his 77 truck. He lost his cool with her and decided if she was gonna haul the Charger off, he would trash it first. Well he did - there isn't a panel on the car that now has good sized dents in it as well as busting out the rear window. I looked at it as I wanted to see what he did to it. So basically it's a parts car now for the trim, some of the interior, maybe the grille/headlight area and the taillights. No pics but trust me every body panel on the car is smashed it. What's a reasonable offer for the hulk or there was one at all? I would buy it and just part it out.

Dents can be pulled out, even big ones, reasonably easy. Is there further damage other than how you described it?

Determining the price to pay can be judged more on a visual (pictures) or detailed description. Was it was in mint condition or driver quality, recent paint, ect.

dents are easy, I wouldnt make it a parts car, PICS....

A guy I bought a 55 chevy off of a while back had a 68 mustang (red with white interior, really sharp car), the guy he bought it from got caught cheating on his girl friend who he had only been dating for 8 months, she came to his house with her son, and used his big money golf clubs to destroy that car and his HD, insurance paid for all the damage, and that guy bought both the bike and car cheap, I didnt get to see the bike, it was out getting fixed, but they did one heck of a job on the car, no glass or lights left in tact, roof, hood, fenders, bumpers, center caps, deck lid, quarters, doors, they had to be gassed by the time they were done, he said he counted over 125 pops!!! That is commitment. The topper was they poured used engine oil he had in his garage all over the interior. They spent some time on it, he said they even sugared the tank like he wsa going to drive it anywhere, lol...

Nothing on this earth as determined as a women scorned, lesson DONT EVER give a girl a key to you home... AND don't ever let them know you love something else, like a car, or motorcycle, because its too easy of a target. I think if my wife and I were to split, she would rather see me have to buy half of my cars off of her or sell them off and split it with her, she is too smart to do any damage, lol...

Your buddy should press charges and get her income attached to the debt it will take to get the car repaired...

It was a non running 383/727, interior needs a complete redo, painted probable 20 years ago but was still looking very nice (as the car had not been driven, at some point the front floors were replaced with street signs!! The best stuff on the car is the trim, the instrument cluster, the front end including the grille, trim etc. I am thinking there is at least a $1000 worth of parts and maybe more once it's all said and done.

Who do you have to buy it from? If it's from your friend offer him $100, part it out and split the profits with him minus your $100 investment.

These guys wind up paying big bucks to lawyers and then go broke. Tell your friend grow up don't be an *** and destroy property. Yes I know it's his but he is just hurting himself.

All this over a girl friend?? What kind of a bind did he get into with her!?? When I was dating, I had a girl friend get mad at me because I WOULDN'T make a commitment to her. My reply was 'you getting mad at me for not making a commitment is why I won't make a commitment to you' and all that did was piss her off worse. Take a hike woman and don't come back or else. Try to haul off my car and you might be in the trunk when the truck comes for it! Get into a bind with a GF....just can't picture that lol

Well its kinda like that monkey that ran across a set of train tracks, he stopped to look around a bit and a train came along and ran over his tail cutting off some. The monkey turned around to see how much and another train came and ran over his head...poor guy...Anyway the moral of the story is don't loose your head over a piece of tail!!!
