Just a quick note as we head into Veterans Day to remind everyone that the day is intended to recognize veterans for their service, not for memorializing the fallen. That's what we do on Memorial Day.

So thanks to my fellow vets for your service, even if it was in the Air Force, and be sure to thank all the vets you come across.

AAWWW Bru...You do have a soft spot for the Air Force after all. So I guess that even though the Navy has been in existence for 300 plus years and has a terrible time of getting it "right" most of the time, that we at least can agree that as Vets we all share the same kinds of things. So on that note my Friend, I thank you for your Service contributions as well...cr8crshr/Tuck

Even NASA {I know it's not considered a branch by most, just a shout out/recognition}

I've had family in every one of them too...

My most sincere thanks go out to all of our honored Veterans. Your sacrifices and service will never be forgotten nor taken for granted.

Just like every year, my shop will be closed in observance of Veterans' Day.
 
Veterans day....

As I contemplate this Veterans day, from the safety of home and hearth, next to my dear wife who is also a veteran( military police), I see in my minds eye the long thin line of men and women who have stood to the bugles call and ran towards death and danger. All of the services are equally to be thanked for the love and dedication their members have shown throughout the years towards their fellow Americans, and those in need the world over. I recall the faces and the voices of all who fell beside me, and of those from other wars that I have either met in person, or touched their name on a wall, on a memorial, on the written page. Heroes all, forgotten none, amen.

Thank you to all here who have served both at home and abroad, in peace and in war. Thank you also to the many family members who make our service both possible, and meaningful.
