What holds the throttle cable from pulling through the firewall?

What holdsthe throttle cable from pulling through the firewall. I know there is a bracket with 2 holes in it but it still seems the throttle cable will go through the hole in the bracket. I have a stock cable Thanks

There is a collar from the engine side, and a C-clip from the inside. See closeup picture of collar here:
