Can anyone advise me on what is the largest Rim Size and Tire size for my 1970 GTX. I am looking for the tires on the back to be larger for a staggered look.

I think I have 275s on the back and 235s or 245s on the front.

Can you suggest the largest size for both front and back that makes the car still driveable on the highway?

I'm running on my 69 RR 18x9.5 rears and 18x8 fronts. Tires are 275's in the rear and 245's up front. To me its a prefect balance for this car. With that said i could of gone wider on both the front and rears. Based on looking at my car you could do 10.5 wide on the rear and 9 inch wide on the fronts without any issues.

I have a 70 RR and i have22x10 inch BZO rims with 285/35/22 lionheart tires on the back and 245/35/20 on the front. the lip on the rear 1/4's were rolled when I bought the car so that made it easier to fit. some air shocks in the back and i'm rolling!!

cthalite3. That's the look I want. I have a standard factory setup with my GTX. Will I have any rubbing issues if I will go with your setup?

you mite if your lip isn't rolled. I was told the biggest u can go in back is 20 inch rim on stock setup but that might have been an old post. if you do have to make any modifications it will be minimal. I had a guy with 15 years of rim and tire experience measure mine and he nailed it the first time. If you were close to chicago i'd let u test fit one of mine.

Thank u for the compliment. they make them in green. oraclelighting.com in louisana. but if you're keeping all original u mite not want the green halos. then again if ur going with 22's in back and 20's in front the green halos will fit the concept very nicely. anyway i can help please let me know. pm me.
