I'm looking for a 1972 rallye dash tachometer, as the title suggests. I know Classic Industries sells a repro one but I've heard that its a cheap plastic PoS.

original arent much better, very inacurate, needle bounces all over, better to go with a aftermarket one in the hole, like a sun.

I got the aftermarket one from them and it's just like the original for the most part but works 100x better

If your dash has a clock remove it and install an 71-74 b body unit. All you need is to wire it the same as aftermarket. However if no clock, you need a real rallye dash.

Yeah that's it. It works great. .as stated I needs to go into a dash with ether a tach or a clock you can't install in the reg rallye dash

I'm new to the site. Not sure how to post an item for sale, or if it is acceptiable to respond to your request. Anyway, i have a spare tech to sell for $100. Not tested. IMG_1681[1].jpg

Dodge 1972, thanks, but that's not the right one for me. Check out the stickied threads on the for sale forums for more info on selling stuff.

I have the clock so I guess I could go with the one from Classic. It looks pretty good to me.
