Primary bowl is filling up past the float. I've swapped the needle/seat as well as the float. WHy is this happened? Fuel pressure is just under 6 psi.

THis is only happening on the the primary side, the secondaries are fine.

I'm stumped, no matter how much I adjust the float level, it fills the bowl full, flooding the carb.

(While I had the float off, Held the float up to "close the needle and seat" when I did that, I blew into the inlet for the gas and I couldn't. I have no idea what this is and I can't figure it out!)

Long shot would be porous or cracked casting. What carb is it? Carter/Edelbrock, Holley, or something else?

Probably the float is set wrong. What are you working on? Is it a Holley? If so, remove the float bowl again. Turn it upside down. Adjust the float so when looking at the float straight on, adjust the float so it's even with the two screws in the back of the float bowl. This will put the float just about even inside the bowl. Reinstall. Adjust float until fuel just trickles. Out of the fuel level sight hole.
