Looking through the paperwork with my 68 Hemi Charger, and I have a few title transfers with previous owners names. Wondering if anyone knows any of these people.

J. Perry jr Scottsdale Arizona, owner in 70's

Anthony Ludovico Glendale Arizona, owner early 80's

Richard H. Kirchhoff Plymouth Mi, owner early 80's

68 Hemi Charger

Dan?
YES!!! That's my old Charger. My brother (John Perry Jr) registered it for me as I was under 18 at the time. I have been looking for this car for a long time. Please call me, [Deleted by staff - No Phone numbers in posts - use PM function]. We are 1 hour ahead of Central time. I have a lot of stories for you including stuff about the original owner.

That is a beautiful car. What color is that? Is that a 68 only color?

Not sure if 68 only, but its RR1 Burgundy metallic

Love the color, that's amazing how many came forth on your car in no time frame at al. Congratulations

Thank you, and yes, I'm amazed that posting the names worked so fast. It was a long shot, but what the hell.

That's so cool! If you can please post some of the stories you get from previous owners. Betting there`s some good ones!

I'm hoping so, I am pretty sure the car was raced sometime early in its life, I can see tell tale signs of previous mods like the fuel line cut for electric pump, and an adjustable pinion snubber. plus it was painted black at one time.

I always wondered how some of you guys run down previous owners on your car. I have no idea who owned my car previous to me - 44 years ago. I think this posting is so cool - and a direct hit on an amazing long shot.

sweet!

I have a 69 1/2 6BBL road runner and have spoken to the original owner, and I have a 71 R/T charger that I know virtually nothing about. I did track down the original 440 block though

Chris any pictures of when you had it ?? vintage stuff ?

Very cool! The internet is a wonderful tool for that.

I was recently able to find the 2nd owner of the A990 clone I just got by searching and found out a bunch of unanswered questions about the motor etc.

Nice car!

Thanks, Still waiting for moparchris to log back on. with his phone number deleted, im waiting for him to check his PM's

Shout out to moparchris! He called me today and spent over an hour chatting about past history on the car. Lots of interesting notes about the car. Car has quite a race history, and apparently was called "Aquarius" and raced at Beeline dragway in Phoenix. Sounds like car also had quite a street history. Chris also told me the car was sold new at a Dodge dealer in Flagstaff. Ill need to come up with the dealer name if anyone has any knowledge of Arizona dealers. Sounds like I will be getting some old pictures.

Is this place GREAT or what?? You throw it out there and one of the previous owners chime in:VB toast:

Yesterday spoke with Richard Kirchhoff who is a fellow from Detroit who purchased the car from Arizona and brought it to Detroit in about 1980. He explained he purchased several cars from the southwest to flip in the Midwest. He also confirmed the car was an X racer and was very "loose, noisy", didn't run very good when he picked it up. It didn't sound like he had it very long.

I will try to get some old photo's scanned over X-mas vacation. Hopefully we''l get some old pictures up for viewing.
