I have three sets of cylinder heads. My question is are they worth putting in the for sale section? All the big blocks I build I usually put Aluminum heads on.
I picked up a 66 440 block and three sets of heads yesterday from a friend. I am building his 70 Charger and he is out of money and owes me so I took his stash of parts to see if they could be sold to someone who is looking for original parts.

The first set of heads are: 2406516 These are a complete set but need rebuilt
The Second set are: 3462346 These heads were rebuilt but were not taken care of so they will need to be rebuilt again.
Third set are : 2843906 These are just bare castings.

I am little familiar with the heads but not sure.
I know most people build with aluminum today so if they go in the for sale section I will have pics and I won't be asking unrealistic prices.
Just trying to see if there are interests and what they are worth.
Thanks for any help,Joe

There is always some interest in the original heads. As far as price check out what they are going for in the For Sale section and you could also look at E bag for a comparison. Good luck.

I hear the 906 are good to get work done to them and use on a rebuild and save$$$$

I have a set of 906's that I just pulled off my driving 383 that need to find a home. I am just too far away from most of the FBBO members to even try and sell here.

Shipping on the iron head is what makes them expensive. Try advertising here and your local Craig's list may have some luck selling. Good luck with your sale.
