Finally have all the pieces and parts needed for the S/S Grille I designed for the old hot rod. Made a bullet proof box reinforced with wood for the trip out to Zack's (5.7 hemi) to perform some grille wizardry!!!

Still Moving Forward

Back when I started this thread a little of my history was given so everyone would know where I have come from. Well all of that stuff that happened with my health has taken another turn. While spending 13 days in the hospital in 2011 with tubes in every orifice and an I-V tube that went to my heart(forget what they call it) and pumping me full of all kinds of drugs. What took place at that point was a bio-chemical change and the enamel on my teeth started going away, the gums started receding, and bone loss. Keep in mind this has taken place over 4 yrs. How I discovered all of this was when I went to the Dentist to see about getting a front tooth fixed that I knocked out while at the gym doing an aggressive set of cable arm curls( no pain/no gain). After looking at the radar pictures it was a no brainer to have them all removed except for the bottom canines. As we all know our teeth are connect in some manner to our organs and nerves. I had this done prior to Christmas and since then I have started to notice little nuance's in my body and health that I haven't felt since I was 50, even with the hypertrophy in my muscles from pumping iron. Now if you are wondering how I feel not having my real teeth, I still have them, they are bagged and tagged in my Mopar Hope Chest - LMAO!!!

I feel f$$king GREAT and now I can really kick *** on the Belv!!!!

Cool story, great ride and you my friend have a lot of work ahead, im going thru the same thing with the building of an old ride i never could get out of my head.. You sure have done some good work, keep it going bud!!!

Styling the Belv

When developing the plan for the Belv some different styling of the original was in order. The car is black with red interior, so keeping with that theme I came up with a few subtle changes to enhance the black exterior.

Got the Belvedere Hotel plowed to check things out behind the green door and just as I suspected the winter crew hasn't done a damn thing - so I fired them all!!! Good help is hard to find these days. The good news is Spring is just around the corner and I can get back to my full blown Addiction - going to be a very busy place.

Winter Hot Rod

Living in northern Michigan is great in the Spring, Summer, and the Fall - But - the Winter can be quite a challenge. So when I want to go play in the snow the John Deere with the 40" Berco-Matic two stage snow thrower is a real animal. For those of you who have or going to purchase a hot rod combo like this I recommend you get the Berco unit instead of the John Deere unit, many of my neighbor's have JD's with the JD unit and the Berco out performs even in wet heavy snow!!!

Kinda reminds me of a High Boy street roadster from back in the day! lmao!!!

That's what I'm talkin about!!!

Those are '68 Plymouth hub caps. My new '68 Runner came from the factory with those!

Correct - they have a little more style than the orig 66's and are stainless and polish up nice!!!
