I haven't posted or been on here in a very long time! Since my last post, the wiring was completed, the carb was rebuilt, the alternator fan and water pump were replaced, new wheels and tires were installed, the motor had a tune up, my spedo now works but none of the other gauges work, all new front end was done, shocks all the way around, flowmaster super 44 series was installed and the old resonator was cut off, new steering coupler was installed from bouchillon performance, I know there is more that i am forgetting. And since thanksgiving, i have been sanding my hood down and last night i sprayed it with matte black primer. I am going to be following the body line that runs with the fenders and paint from that line up matte black. Perhaps you know this but the dash gauges have a small regulator to maintain the voltage level. When the regulator fails it damages the gauges. Or maybe its just a bad regulator or wiring. Regulator is a mechanical device. Solid state units are now available. If you have a voltmeter take a reading on the line and drop side for voltage. I not sure but around 6 Volts to gauges is typical. If you never removed a dash, just a few pointers. Remove seat, remove steering mounting hardware below dash. steering wheel will drop. then process with removing the dash. You should be able to remove enough to get to the rear to replace or take reading. If you need or information or pictures, I have a spare dash I planning to sell next month, so I can send a photo or two Also recommend purchasing an electrical service manual. It really helps

I will look into that, thank you! And when i remove my gauges i don't remove the seat, i drop the column and remove the gauges :evil6:. But thank you for your advice!
