Sad day for me, I sold my 68 charger today. I want to start a new project soon so if anyone comes across or hears about another 68 charger for sale please let me know.
prefer a complete car with minimal rust, does not need any running gear.

Wow Mr. B, can't believe you sold your 68. That was a sweet machine. Good luck on your next ride, what ideas are you rolling around for the next set of wheels?

You suck Benno, man that was a beauty! Good luck on the next one.

I am stunned! That car is a beauty! As they say, for some, it is the thrill of the hunt( build) more than the actual possession of the prey( ******* awesome car!).

You suck X2! lol Sad to see it go I hope the new owner finds his way onto this website. And I'm looking forward to seeing your next project!

a 68 Charger is my "The One" car too!

thanks guys, it looked nice but has some issues with the chassis and the previous owner did not restore it very well, it worked out financially better to sell it and find a new one.

my new one will be complete custom build, twin turbo all aluminium 440 stroked, manual gearbox, custom chassis/suspension and so forth.
now that I have more experience with these cars I wont make all the mistakes I did on the first one.

please keep an ear out for me and cheers for the kind words guys.

I think someone on here posted a link to 68 in Texas for 6500 it was on Craigslist, you might want to search it out, good luck.

Seems like you made a tough but sound decision Benno. You can buy a completely restored car cheaper than you can restore one. Happy for you and hope your next project lives up to your expectations. Good luck

Say it ain't soooooo . . . .

Oh well, welcome to the madness and I can't wait to see what you come up with for your next "creation" ! ! !

W H UUUUUUUUTT ???????? :sad6:

The car looked great in pictures !
Good luck in your search!

Too bad I really liked that car too...

good luck

cheers guys, few years I will share the new one, might even go the same colour again

Now that I think about it, I sorta did the same thing many, many years ago.

By the time I got my Charger in 2000, I had made several mistakes with cars and had learned a bunch in the process. Back in 1984, I was not nearly as lucky. I had bought my first Camaro, a 73 with a 350. I messed around a bunch with that car, screwed up several things, wrecked it a few times until it was finally totalled. I bought a 76 Camaro as a replacement and used everything I had learned to make the 76 a better handling, faster and more comfortable car. I prefer the 70-73 styling but that 76 was a great car.
I'm thinking that the OPs next effort will surpass the old one for many of the same reasons. Good luck, Benno!

Are you freaking kidding me.....seriously

We've got allot in common haha. I learned what I didn't like building Chevies and finally built one that I'm happy with..... a Charger haha. Sometimes it just makes more sense to turn a buck on a car and start from scratch.

I can`t believe you sold that beautiful car! Love the plans you have for the new one though. I look forward to you building and sharing pics when you start! Hold on everyone! This is gonna be fun!
