Well, finally went down to the city and bought the GTX i've been looking at. It's a 1967 440/auto, right now it's without motor and trans. But i have both in the garage. Looks like the Satellite i've been toying with for so long will be turning into a bit of a parts car. I'll put some pictures up a little later when i can get away from my 1 year old son long enough to get back outside.

nice score, I look forward to the photos & build details...

The 67 GTX is one of the best mopars. Waiting on the pics

Well here it is. Pretty solid, but far from perfect. It's real though, which is the important part. And it came with a box of hard to find and expensive parts. One of the first things i need to address is the fact that there's 1 disc brake and 3 drum brakes.... interesting.

Nice man...but I couldn't help but LOL about the current brake config.

Nice find. Looks like a good car to start with, good luck with the build!

Very cool,I like those gtx's and the brakes I'd leave alone adds a bit of patina (shows the rough life this car went threw) I bet there's a story with that brake setup probably side of the road on day near a junk yard so the owner at that time went and got whatever fit to get home
It sounds good at least right?

What really happened was it got a disc brake conversion and someone wanted the parts back before it left and got lazy and said screw it and only took one side ,and a few months later scraped it anyways

Nice car I love the 67's. My dad had a blue one when I was growing up 426 Hemi auto 323 pos. Sadly he had to sell it back in 1990 owed the IRS some money. I always wanted to drive that car lol.

Congrats on the 67 GTX ! It's good to see another one being rescued and given the life it deserves !

Good for you my brother! I'm a 68 GTX owner. Love them all. Great project car. Good luck and look forward to seeing you around the site.
