i have done a 64 sport fury conv. it does a quick job removing the paint but they don't tell you about the sand mud leftovers that I'm still cleaning out of hard to reach areas 2 1/2 months later. some of the mud a 1/4 +" deep and had to be scraped out with a putty knife and a wire brush!! the customer bought the blaster because he didn't want the residue left over. i'll take my old pressure blaster (dry) over it any day of the week! the dustless blaster price is @ $ 8000.00 plus renting a large air compressor at $355.00 a day rental. NO THANK YOU Dustless blaster!

Your far better off with dry blasting. Either way your not breathing all that lead dust from old paint and lead seams. Never mid the toxic crap left on your ground. At least the guys who blast clean up after themselves. I had my car dry blasted with Dupont media and it took months to get rid of it all. it sucks either way. Then this poor guy blasting is breathing all that wetted dust right into his lungs. Blood poisoning just waiting to happen. No respirator cause he figures wet means safe. beleve me after 30 years in chemical business i feel bad for this guy..

Dustless is idiotville! I don't even touch the dry media I use every day, that is with bare hands! I wear some rubber gloves! Here I am all decked out! Helmet has a force fed air that's filtered, and the air is either cooled or heated for comfort. I'm very separated from the elements in this suit!
