It sounds great when people say that they will give away some of their money to charity. It makes us sound benevolent and we feel good about it.
If we decide to give back to someone that helped us in times of need, wouldn't that be a good way to add a personal touch?
Who was there for you when you really needed it? Who stayed late, went the extra mile or put themselves out on your behalf?
Some feel that our Veterans deserve it because without them, our way of life could have been very different.
Some want to help their family, maybe buy their Parents a nice house or something big.
700 million dollars has a way of making people think. The odds of winning are so far against us, but it is fun to think about, right? Doesn't it seem unfair and criminal how much you'd lose in taxes? It is nothing short of robbery, a Mob boss has more decency than the tax man does.
We have heard of how SO many Lottery winners wish that they never had won.
We hear some say after winning..."I'm not quitting my job at Wal Mart"
Wouldn't it be fun to secretly give money to people that deserve it? I'm not talking about some organized charity, but to individual people or families. You could have a small staff of people that look for people in need. The whole thing could be done without ever telling them your name.
I'd also like to pal up with AMD and start reproducing parts for cars that makes NO financial sense. I'd love to make 68-70 Charger bodies, 68-70 Coronets, Road Runners... Maybe even the Mopars that I've never liked that much.
How would you spend it?
