How would i go about fixing a rot spot on my 63 wagon gas tank? Not sure how big the hole is yet. I am going to pull it out after my floors are done. Thanks .....Jay

If its in real bad shape you may just want to buy a new one. I have heard of people using J B Weld and that working. After u drop tank I would clean tank out really good before reuse

I had a neighbor that has done this. I have also seen him use fiberglass mesh and resin to do the same. Good Luck

If all else fails, locate a farm implement repair shop and see if they can fix/repair your tank.

If they can fix rusted out fuel tanks from old farm tractors that are being restored, the tank from your stationwagon wouldn't be much different.

Around my neck of the woods the local rad shop can patch gas tanks
After is is cleaned and patched try you local airport repair shop for the gas tank inner sealer they use
