[h=2]on november 19th 2015 a jeep liberty crossed the double yellow line on avery rd rockville md hitting me in my drivers door/ quarter panel pushed me out of my lane and up an embankment on the side of the road the only reason i did not leave the accident in a ambulance is beacause of the 10 point roll cage and subframe connectors i welded in december of 2014, the jeep has been found at fault but is insured by geico they have done next to nothing to settle my claim in a timely manner along with not responding or humoring my requests for face to face meetings to settle on a value for my car and come to a fair settlement, really im just wondering if anyone knows a good classic car appraiser in or around rockville md area or if anyone have any helpfull tips on how i can get some results or if i would be better off getting a lawyer to help me handle this[/h]

Contact the insurance commissioner for your state and let them know what the details are. From there, lawyer up. You should have been contacted by them within days of the incident. Is your car covered well by your insurance or are you bare bones or no insurance? If you are bare bones or without, thats not helping matters. If you are well covered by your company, WTF are they doing by not taking care of this issue. Thats one of the things your coverage is for. If you are covered, your company should be taking care of business then going after Geico with whats called subrogation. Its when the two companies duke it out over whats owed. As you are finding out, Geico blows. They are difficult to deal with as a repair shop.

I was in an accident with my 1968 Roadrunner a few years ago, not my fault. I let Hagerty deal with everything which insures my cars. Everything went great. Try making your insurance make their insurance pay up.

Threaten Geico that you'll call your lawyer...that should get their attention.

and if that doesnt work, you may have to subrogate it to your insurance.

I used to work for an insurance company and they will try to wear you down. Save yourself the trouble and get a lawyer. You lose and it costs nothing, win and it costs about 1/3 of your take for the lawyer.
