Hey Guys, so I'm moving to Colorado Springs at the end of the month. Getting the 70 RR running and driving to make the trip. Would love to meet up with anyone along the way. I'll be taking the northern route. Meaning I70 most of the way. Does anybody know if any hot rod shops or performance racing shops/ engine building machine shops hiring in the Colorado Springs/Denver area. I will be able to provide a resume and portfolio of builds and skills. Any help from my mopar brothers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jon

There use to be a speed/restoration shop in CO Springs called scottie's and a speed shop in Denver called finish line or something. Not sure if either are still open since I moved and do not know first hand the quality of their work? I'm headed out to denver this weekend I'll try and see what's around these days if I can

You lucky dog! I lived in Colo Sprgs for 10 years in the 80s until pretty much forced to move for the job situation. What a great place to live. I still miss it very much. Enjoy the trip out and enjoy that beautiful area.

Good luck with your move. Lots of Pot there we hear.

I will! I'll be driving dead bird. Would love for people from the forums who would wanna meet up.

Can't buy in Colo Spgs, only Medical, closest is Manitou Springs, 2 shops.

Well plenty of stops for gas cause the 440 will be thirsty. But I'm open to some stops.
I know I am not the only one on here in the Kansas City area. If we know when you will be coming thru will try putting something together.

Something say weed? Medical is some good ****, Man.

I remember driving from Allentown to San Jose in July 1991 when relocating. Driving a 69 Sport Satellite with all worldly possessions in trunk. A Kirby and a Microwave. Also had $200 in travelers checks. Gave most of those up for a wheel bearing in Laramie at a Conoco station. Also, the air was pretty foul till I got to Denver.
