There is a WTB (Wanted to Buy) section in the classifieds that might be helpful to post in.

Welcome to FBBO. Always love to see another Canuck join the forum. You'd get better results if you posted in the classified section of the forum.

Thanks for the warm welcome :) I will try the classified.

welcome to FBBO looking good keep us posted on your progress

I have an insert, but no extra hood. I don't know if you are looking for pieces individually or not.

Please send me a PM on how much you want.

i have the hood which has a ton of rust but I want to see if its repairable or not by any shops, if I can repair it then I would only need an insert

On another note hoping someone could give me some assistance in understanding how these measurements work

I cant figure out what starting points are on K frame and frame rails. We installed the new frame rail this weekend on drivers side using the K-FRame to ensure bolts lined up but I want to be sure height is ok and distance closer to the cross member

I don't claim to be an expert and I'll probably overlook something but to me it appears that the rear part of the K-member occurs at point "B" with a measurement of 37.86" from point "L" Then there's the measurement of 52.80" that starts at L and appears to go to the center of the front "arm" of the K-member. Now, I didn't see any measurement listed for distance between the front cross-member and the K-frame, that being said, I believe the drawing is assuming you will line up the K members with the measurements given from point "L". Also note the measurement from point "D" to point "B" diagonally across is 51.73".
Note that Point B is referenced from along a construction line intersecting with the location of the front springs. Even more simply put, point B is 13.21" away from the center of the K-member.
I do not believe height will be an issue here unless the frame rails are screwy or the K-member has been modified. It should just set right into place at be at the stock height.

I hope this helps you out, if you other guys see I've screwed up please correct me for the sake of velrob's Charger!

Someone told me these measurements seem to be for the 70 charger

thats probably why they are off for me

Continue to work on the car. Decided to change passenger floor. Both floor changed driver and passenger. Front passenger rail changed. New to welding and restoring a car. Working on Rad support and front rocker panel.
