The emergency flasher will only light the left front turn signal. All turn signals and rake lights work normally. There had been an issue with the left brake light but that seems to be working now. Not sure if this is part of the same problem of something new. The dome light doesn't work with the HL switch but does work with the doors. The switch was replaced last year.

brake light and hazzard light could be part of the same problem and is pointing out to the turning light switch. The turning light switch is like a "matrix" which routes what is the source for the high intensity light on bulbs... either brakes, hazzard or turning flasher. Internally got points to route this bulb filament from the correct input source

Dome light works being constant positive from fusebox and sitched on/off by ground, either light switch or door jam switch.

Need to locate when is not working the dome light ? with HL switch or door jam swith. If door jam switch, which door yes and wich door no.

I agree with what Nacho said. Most likely the culprit is the turn signal switch for why the 4 corners aren't working right.

or a corroded hazzard switch...if turn signals work correctly, I would fault the 4 way switch first....I can repair these if needed

Depending of year ( is not specified ). 70 and lates hazzard is part of turning switch.

Same about dome light... Depending on year. Up to 70 got a separatelly switch from HL switch on the dimmer wheel assembly. 71 and lates is part of HLS

Everything towards to be a 71 and late GTX due the description about the HL switch

yea, I suppose we should probably have all the correct info on the car before trying to diagnose it over the web

Sorry for not giving car info. I should know better. It's a 69 GTX convertible

that makes a very diff troubleshooting route, being a hazzard divorced switch from turning signal swith and a totally diff wiring... same as Dome light/dimmer wheel.

It can be then the hazzard switch itself...

when you turn on hazzards do you get brakes light on the "non working" hazzard side ?

Dome light system is not more than a tab being grounding to chassis and feed the dome light with ground from switch housing attached to cluster. It should be easy to check and fix. The rheostat ceramic wheel gets a protude what push this tab.
