Hey everybody glad to be here. I just bought my dream car a 69 roadrunner. On to my first official question, the original water pump just went out does anybody have any suggestions on where to get it rebuilt? Thanks

Welcome lets see some pics. I don't know of anywhere that rebuilds water pumps sorry.

Welcome to FBBO. This is the best site on the net for b body info. A water pump isn't that expensive. I just bought a new one from Summit Racing for my 68 GTX for $45. Unless of course you want aluminum or electric then you get spendy. I just bought a stock iron mechanical pump.

I have a replacement to get me by but I want to rebuild the original because it has all the original numbers and stampings on it. thanks

Beautiful ride!!! and Welcome!

I have used Automotive Friction out of Oregan to restore the factory correct water pump and never had an issue with their craftmanship. They can also upgrade the fan blade as well(#fins and cavitation plate).

Here is their website addr:

Good Luck
