Something cool I made for the Charger

LOL, Looks pretty cool Speedy!

Great idea and it does really dress the area up a lot. I had the license plate number/letter string lazer cut in mine so as to allow air flow directly onto the fins of the transmission oil cooling piece.

I did something similar too for my last 2 68 RR's here's the paper template I made,
it was made from 0.040" Aluminum {2024 ?} so it weighed nothing almost,
easy to work with/bend & no welding needed...

It's done to keep air out or the hood from lifting as much
especially my last cars @ 158mph pass
& to help redirect "all the air coming thru the grill/going actually thru the radiator core,
really worked very well on both accounts...
Sorry no photos installed, I still have to make one for my current 68 RR also...
Hence why I kept the template...

I'll take a photo when I actually ever get around to it...LOL,
it's kind of low on my priority list of "thing I still need to do", right now...

yours looks really good 747mopar

747, that is something I have been thinking about doing as well. I just have to wait until I have the front end back together and the hood hinges worked out for the flip front hood. I want to cover the top of the power window motored headlight opening apparatus. At one point a week or so ago I was even toying with the idea of permanently placing the front end of the hood, back to the radiator shell on the car and starting the hood opening there. Not as thrilled about it now though.

I'd already been debating/in discussion to have something similar done on mine. Especially with my IC getting stuffed in front of the rad I want to direct as much air flow as possible. Just have to see how it will work once the IC piping is all in place. OR like I said Dev you're waking up to a RoadRunner in your driveway one of these mornings for those times you get bored! lol

Bring it down but I doubt I'd get bored with your 522 in the driveway!

Wait a minute . . . let's get this straightened out . . .

IF you had Goon's 522 Road Runner in your driveway, It most certainly would NOT be sitting in your driveway ! ! !

That's for sure ! ! ! LMAO

Nice fab work and a good idea..

The official excuse would be..... "I just wanted to see if the Caltrac really worked.... and then test it's repeatability"!!

Thanks 440+6.

Nice work!! But what is this 'eye sore' you speak about?? The only eye sore I can think about when it comes to a Mopar is if it's dirty.

Lol, I just don't like seeing the headlight wiring, headlight bucket mechanisms, etc. Just didn't look finished to me that's all.

Gonna set off the look of a "Shiney new Black Carb" real nice!!! ;)

Yeah, I'm getting pretty excited about the new card.... still waiting.

I think I see some flaws in that piece. I'm thinking you should sell that one to me and maybe do a little better on the 2nd one.

Pretty innovative Devin - you do do a good job of thinking outside the box. I remember when everyone was debating with you about your hood scoop. You stayed the course and created something of envy. You have a sweet ride and she has an innovative owner.

Looks great Devin, i did mine the dirty white boy way :)

Well there was some good suggestions that helped steer me in the right direction, who knows it may have turned out a lot different without the added ideas? Thanks GetX'd
