If so did it make a big difference over a single carb, any input would be appreciated

100% of ALL Dyno tests show that a Edelbrock or INDY Single Plane with a 1050 carb outperforms the Mopar CrossRam (with 2 Edelbrock Carbs) by around 75HP.

If you MUST have a cross ram (for NSS racing) then the only one 2 use is the INDY "box style" cross ram (which is still legal for NSS). Even it outperforms the MOPAR cross ram by about 60HP.

And that is the complete answer.

If you just want it for "looks" that is fine.

mopar performance made an upgraded version a few years back. the best thing to do is be armed with information before you buy. go to the hughes website and look up the flow numbers on the intake manifolds.

I called Dave at Hughes and had him do a custom grind, and he said what Mike posted.

we know cylinder heads won't make anymore power than they can flow air; the same holds true for intake manifolds.
