Well, if you take a 35 thousand dollar Challenger, dump another 25 thousand into it, in the end you end up with an absolutely hideous abortion that's worth less than the original cost of the car.

Some may not like the look of an original Superbird or Daytona, but they were built for a purpose. The only purpose these cars are built is to appeal to those with too much money and zero tastes.

What was the sticker price on that pile-o-crap?

my mama said, if i got nothing good to say, dont say nothing at all.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................:icon_puke_r:

Is it a hellcat with a nose and wing? Or does it just have the hood? I would be curious to know if it does have the hellcat drivetrain if the nose and wing increase the top speed. My curiosity ends there.

How about the red Daytona to the left? Just mount a wing on any mopar and call it good or a bad idea. I got one for sale on the forum.GEDC0996.jpg

Hellcat didn't have those wheels as an option, and this nose cone would completely eliminate the air inlet on the inner lamp.
So I'd say not a Hellcat. And this has been done a few dozen times over the past few years already, the one I'm more familiar with is Joel Highsmith's GRIZZZ, a 200+ mph Challenger 'Superbird'

Chrysler should have quit on those things while they were ahead. I didn't care for the original ones - although i did look at them with some awe when I was a kid. The awe is gone - and the new ones = gag me.....

My opinion. Piece of crap.

The wing cars were done for a specific reason. See, 69, 70 yeah. That works. 71, a stretch, but Chrysler did do some studies.

Been some version or other since 2008

some people love them, some hate them

Petty has offered them even

will it ever be a real collectable ? who knows,
allot of stuff I didn't like way back when, has become worth big $$$ now...
20-20 hindsight is a great thing...LOL

we'll see in another 20-30 years maybe

Yep it will never be like a 69-70 Winged Warrior either

The Challenger one looks like barf, but the old ones are just PURE AWESOMENESS.

Outstanding....

I'd love to drive that white one at the top. And then again I'd drive a 4 door Charger too..I have no shame ha ha

Its probably as much of an embarrassment to drive as the originals they say.....its true (before you guts flame me) that many people thought the originals were hideous back in the day. They also certainly had their own inherent problems....like going through a car wash LOL!

The originals had a on outstanding NASCAR pedigree and were still a tough sell. These kits are perfect for the guy with more money than taste.

Original wing cars I like, these are just a no! and that black Dodge challenger Superbird wtf... But I find it funny because I'm pretty sure our reaction to the new one is the same reaction the original Superbirds and Daytona got.
