Re: 1972 Satellite Sebring Plus. Found four fine-thread Phillips head screws (2 3/4" long with countersunk head and rounded top) in a plastic bag marked "Bucket Seats". Included in the bag were 8 nuts with built in washers that must be those used to secure the buckets seats to the floorboard. But the four screws seem a little weird to be used on the bucket seats (which are in the upholstery shop right now and I don't have access to them at the moment). My question is-do these screws have anything to do with the seats or upholstery? (One screw is bent, as can be seen in the foto, must have been stressed at one time). I thought maybe they were from tail light lenses? (Last year I swapped out my 72 SSP bumper/tail lights for 71 pieces) Thank you.

Just a guess here. Hinge cover possibly??

the hinge cover screws should be bigger then the tail light screws
compare them and you should be able to figure it out.

Chromed Philips head about #8 in size would be for plastic cover for back of seat.

Vehicle never had speakers when I purchased it, so these screws origin are somewhere else. Maybe the bag is not mis-labled and they do fit the plastic seat back.
