Moving to Colorado.

Parker is a nice area - but if you're going to be working in Colo Sprgs you don't want to live on the North side of monument hill. And you don't need to be that far North of the springs either. Parker is a good option if you work in Denver.

Ask sh the guys that live in tHe front range - I think they would validate what I just said. Good luck!

Even getting out in the prairie is OK around the Springs. Head out East towards Peterson AFB and out in that area.

We are getting as bad as CA in that it seems like everyone here is from somewhere else.
Exactly, BUT; Not all of Calif. is as described either,
IMO most all the rest of the negative comment stuff about Calif. is
because of Liberal values of the coastal BS, larger inner-city masses BS & the ghettos/hoods,
the rest of the state much like Co. is relatively normal conservative & hard working people,
nothing like the Ca. areas being discussed...

Sorry but I had to get that fact in there, I'm a native Calif. and
much of the assoc. trouble here is from people that live in the inner-city or
are here from some other **** hole, because of our inner-city SF LA etc.
sanctuary & social welfare & the decaying political environment/lack of real leadership that
seemingly entices them to come here, from what ever other shithole/state/country
they are actually from originally...

thank you Bud. my response would have contained some profanity.

California is a nice place, in general. I lived there for a while as a kid, and I still have a shitload of cousins that are out there. But, there is no way in Hell I'd live in the LA Basin, the Bay Area, or Sacramento. All three can rot off the face of the planet.

Definitely and the further north you get in CA, the better it gets. Kind of like Colorado come to think of it. The only difference is the further north you get in Colorado, the more expensive it gets.

Have you looked at Trinidad Burns? Or better yet Starkville?

Not yet, I'll definitely take a drive through there

LMAO, just joking.
If you take a drive through there drive fast, brush up on your Spanish and take plenty of ammo.
Still, the cost of living is very low, as are the standards.

Another word of advice, try to have several job prospects lined up before you make the trip. One big problem in Colorado is that many people move here on a whim thinking they will land a good job, live the Rocky Mountain lifestyle and live happily ever after. Most of them are standing on a street corner holding a cardboard sign, in 15 degree weather.

You might want to put a heater in that bad boy. Colorado is a bit colder than the Carolinas.

Good point however with the hood closed and the heat that monster is putting out I'll bet the flow through all the other holes in firewall might keep him fairly toasty.

Yeah she be pretty toasty. I didn't have time to make a fan shroud for her. So I just mounted the fans on the radiator. She gets a little hot if you're revving it up a bit then let it sit and idle for like 10 or 15 minutes. She got close to 210* but and she doesn't seem like she's getting that hot. my thermostat gauge could be wrong. It's and auto parts store Bosch cluster

DSCF0001 (3).jpgDSCF0001 (2).jpgHope you are in no hurry, snow is everywhere, plowing side streets all weekend, double what you see in the pics, this was the 1st day. I would bring some plastic sheeting and duct tape to cover them holes up. Got the wife from the airport last night, was 2 below. Warm up starts Saturday 40's, Sunday 34, rest of the week mid to high 40's, no precip.
