cool car nice pass
congrats

Ran a pb in my 70 challenger today, previous outing, ran a pb 12.35 with a bog off the line. This meet ran a 12.31 still with the bog, so i swapped my HP 950 on that used to be on my Dart, ran 11.86, then backed it up with a 11.83 and picked up 1 mph.

Congrats on the new low ET PB, -0.5 tenths,
that's impressive for a carb change,
but makes sense, the 60ft to 330ft clocks is where you get allot of ET improvements

My work in progress:
1967 Plymouth Satellite
10.3:1 452" "B" - .040 over 400 block; ICONN pistons & Scat H-Beam rods on a forged RB 413 crank
440-Source Stealth heads - OTB
Engle Solid FT Cam - 252* / .573 w/ 1.5 rollertip rockers
Eddy RPM intake / 830cfm Holley DP
MSD Digital 6+ & Mallory dizzy
1-7/8" Hooker headers w/ 3" cutouts to 1-1/4" complete system
727 w/ Dynamic 9-1/2" converter & TA manual VB
8-3/4" Backbraced with 3.91's on a Detroit Locker
Calvert split mono's and Cal-Track bars with Summit adj. shocks.

It's run 11.67 @ 114. I'm just now starting to understand how a Holley really works so there's probably some left. The car has no roll-bar however, and boasts a really nice stock full interior, so I'm almost at my Street vs. Strip crossroads. It gets driven on the street plenty. Pump gas friendly and dead reliable (knock on wood), its got everything that it came with still in tact and working.

Fata12 How do you have your suspension set up to help weight transfer? I'm sure you need plenty with those tires.

I'm always floored on how quick you FAST guys are with stuff like cast iron ex manifolds, high idle vacuum, and stock suspension - my hats off to you and your compatriots.

My head tells me there has to be a lot of little tricks that add up to greatly reduced ETs, Guys like me can't resist the urge to cam 'em up so they sound like some superstock combo, yet my junk is always slower!

Thanks for posting!

Had to rebuild and redo everything over the last 18 months due to a very bad fire! Have changed the heads to 440 Source and will be changing the gears to a 4.89 set. Will update after getting back on the track this spring!100_1157.jpg
