Hello,

Why dose my headlights and amp gauge pulsate/flicker when the RPM goes up, is this a result of a bad ground ?? It just had a new alternator installed but not by me, it was on the car when I purchased it.

Hello,
I always say go with your gut. You may have answered your own question. I would start at your battery connections, testing and cleaning. Keep it simple. If everything checks ok. Check out the voltage regulator. Good Luck!

Check the voltage regulator to make sure it's grounded to the firewall properly.
Check/clean the bulkhead connections
