1970 roadrunner

my rivets on the vin are hex the radiator has been replaced on the trunk i can't read them 2 much paint going 2 try and remove paint come spring.

You're looking for a number (last 5-6 digits of the VIN). As an anti-theft thing, Mopar put that same number on the radiator core support (not the radiator). It is on the passenger side, back side & under the "lip" of the core support. Also, that same number will be under the trunk weather stripping, driver's side, on the body of the car itself, just behind the lower, driver's side corner of the window (& back a little bit near/under the trunk weather stripping). If it is originally a Road Runner, then the VIN tag on the dash, the fender tag, the core support & the trunk area will all have the same number.

Look under the trunk rail with a mirror. You should be able to make out he numbers.

I agree with 3rd1970rr . Also all 70 super bees are rally dash cars..... and FYI 70 Coronet R/Ts come factory with the standard dash and option in the rally dash if so desired.
First, Check the body numbers to see if they match the VIN

Based on that other thread with the early production 70 Hemi RR which had a non-rallye dash, it could be correct. Did you ever figure out the build date? What's the sequence number?
