Just cut off my quarter pannel to hang a full patch panel.low and behold wheelhouse is shot also. Is their anyone who make them or are they the same as another?
I repaired my Coronet. It's not professional, but hey it will work! Mine was fairly minor but with some patience, and acceptance that little is re-popped for these cars, I have managed to repair all my damaged areas. Oh, and welcome to FBBO.
That particular piece was a cut off from the excess on the Sherman quarter patch sections. They were over sized for what I needed. It was flat piece so I bent it and shaped it and it's close enough for me. A lot of patches I make I cut pieces from an old hood I have here. The steel is rust free, correct thickness and basically straight so it's great for that. In fact, occasionally the bends in the hood can be used.
Thanks for the info. Mine are alittle worse then that. I just ordered a set for a 68. I know they will have to be cut welded ect ect. But anything will be better then what I have now.
