My uncle has recently contacted me about his 1966 Dodge Charger.. He wants to sell it..

Here is the info on it.

400 Based 500CI Stroker- All the best parts.. Makes 564hp and 640tq

Built 8 3/4 rear with new brakes and Eaton 3:91 center section, Yukon axles and ARP 3 inch studs

Disc Brake conversion on the front from a A-Body

All front and rear suspension rebuilt

Bumpers were redone a few years back

No rust at all.. Never patched and no bondo, no dents.. Solid car

It could use paint.. Paint is old.. Shows good but is not up to great quality..

Has a Cope racing 727 in it with a PTC 11inch 2800/3500 stall converter..

Its a good driver street car.. Not perfect by far.. Needs a lot of cleaning up.. The fuel gauge doesn't work and the hideaway headlights work on and off.

Interior is Very nice..

Just trying to get a honest idea of what it is worth..

Thanks a lot!

hope I don't get kicked out for this....

Nice car! I love that driveshaft loop. Sturdiest thing I've seen yet.

For a bone-stock 383 automatic w/o air, according to NADA, it's anywhere from
$9,281to $35,375.

Wow what a great looking Charger. Good luck with it. Have you tried the Hagerty valuation tool to get an idea of the value?

Your Uncle is trying to do you a favor and all you can think about is turning a buck. What a shame.Hope he comes to his senses as sells to someone whom will appreciate it.

No, he is trying to find out it's worth for him, not sell it.

No one seems to want to answer this... well here's my opinion. There's at least 15-20 in the driveline alone, not counting the fact you know the owner so you know the history. It's a racecar but that's cool in my books. Counting a solid 1st gen Charger, I would say 25 at the bare minimum just to duplicate, if you did all the work yourself. But beauty is in the eye of the beer holder, if I had the coin then I'd offer him 25. Then he's recovering most of his costs on a used (previously enjoyed) racecar and you're getting a sweet deal on a bada$$ Mopar.
