How rare is this car?

The car is for sale at a reserve price that I'm sure is nowhere near the current bid. I'm guessing that the reserve is at least 30K and probably a lot more.

rare...if it is the real deal....at least it has the right stick in it....

was the wedge motor still available in 65 ??

yep

it has a "Buy it now" price of $34,975.00 I'm not seeing were it's saying it's original matching numbers. In fact in the Seller notes: Powered by the fresh 426 C.I. big block,w/ show chromed accessories. Paired w/ 4 spd. manual floor shift transmission. Period correct power train with excellent power & performance !!!...
Great looking car. I love to have it to go with my 500 HT.

A beautiful car! Though his youtube video gave me motion sickness. Not sure about how "fresh" the engine is either as there is surface rust on the intake at the exhaust crossover and around water pump, but I'd love it!!!

That car was sold at Mecum Auction in Austin Tx last December. My club drives all the cars across the block for Mecum when they're in Austin and I remember taking a close look at it then. The 426 was not original to the car.

I know its the exact car because I remember the heater hoses being disconnected and a bypass hose sticking out rather obtrusively which took a lot away from the look of the engine.

https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail/AU1215-228690/0/1965-Dodge-Coronet-440-Convertible/4-Speed/ It sold for $18,000 last December and it looks like this e-bay auction has ended with the reserve not being met at $15,600.
