Hey guys
My body man is killing himself trying to get the gaps right on my car. They are all uniform and equal now, but wide. Take a look. He is not used to mopars so was worried something is way off.

A 1/4" was close back then. Things sure have changed.

don't worry about it. yours is better than most. body fit was very crummy back then.

They look good to me!

BTW: How does this GAP look?

Looks good from here, whether or not a gap is right is only determined by the owner.

I use a paint stir stick as a guage. Oddly, the last 3 early Valiants that I did had panel fitment that was tighter than that. I mostly deal with 67-76 A body cars that have wider gaps.

Legs are a little skinny but I wouldn't tell her that. Women can get turned off rather easily.

They are fine. Once the paint and clear is on they'll be as good as it gets.

The gaps look fine, as already posted your body man has done a good job on them.

Lol. Those are tight. Mine are all over so I said F it.
