I thought it would be fun to post some pics of what your car looked like when you rescued it. Mine is a 1969 Super Bee I bought from the original family. It sat for 26 years and was a challenge, but now I get to drive it every day. :hello2:

I picked up this 1969 Satellite Convertible from Oklahoma 14 yrs ago, it sat there for 14 yrs. Tore it apart and put it on a rotisserie and got the body in shape and covered it in epoxy , kids sports came along so the car sat for quite a while, finished what I started 2013-14, back to life on the road in 2015. I'm upgrading the intake, power steering box and shocks this winter, put 1000 miles on it last yr but plan to put a lot more on this year!

My car is the 68 on the left. These pics were taken when my friend bought all three. He was cutting it up or for original parts for his 68 R/T Charger.I bought it from him after he took all the parts off of it.I basically got a cut up shell.
Thanks,Joe

The Fury was built in Cali and spent most of it's life there.
The owner retired and moved to Okla City.
That's where I found it.

It had a LA 318 with burned valves.
Barely drove it onto the trailer under it's own power.
Came with lots of extra parts, bumpers, glass.

That Bee is a gem!
I think "after" pics are in order as well!

Here are a few after pics. I did ALL the mechanicals and electrical. I took it down to the body shell and rebuilt it. Everything works. I did not do the body though, I left the original paint and vinyl top. I have since put new exhaust with Flowmasters and correct tips on it. About half of he interior is original. The other half had to be replaced. Rotten rats!!!

It's fun to drive just like it is!!!

I know, this was a real challenge to get on the road. The pictures were taken before I even had the tittle in my hand...... Lots of plans for this former grandmother car. Ordered a gas tank and she leaks at the shift shaft seal. Just waiting for warmer weather. DSCF1892.jpgDSCF1894.jpg
