Budnicks- So funny seeing that album. When I was a kid, Dr Hook (and the Medicine Show) lived in a house down the block from me. My older sister who was about 14-15 at the time was forbidden from going near that house. My father caught her talking to some of the band there one day. He called it the hippy house. I just saw them in concert last year. They still rocked. Ray's voice (guy with the eyepatch) was a little rough but it was very nostalgic. After the show I went up to talk to him and he said yeah, I vaguely remember that house. We were pretty stoned back then !! LOL . Here's what he looks like now ( with the hat on).
