asked this topic in general and got no answers so thought it might be in wrong area so ..

could you get reclining seats in 60's - 70's mopars ?

over here(Australia ) just about all cars with buckets( all brands) had reclining buckets , just seems weird that they weren't popular over there :eusa_think:

that said ,has there ever been a "conversion" or kit for making our "upright " seats recline ?
has anyone done this ?

I know about the 6 way seat track, but I'm talking either 4-5 positions with a side leaver or as with older reclining buckets a "roll" down function on the side

Can't recall ever seeing anything from the factory that early.
 
If you want reclining seats you will have to go either with an aftermarket seat or a later model seat from a junk yard.
