What did you do to your Mopar today?

A RED letter day for me! Got her blasted yesterday and the rebuild starts...after I protect the bare, clean new metal. IMG_0791.JPG

I found the build sheet bolted to the floor of the car under the carpet with one of the bucket seat floor bolts going through the middle of it. Also took it for a short ride to the gas station. Pretty good day.

Yesterday, it was warm enough, about 55, so I was able to remove a little more undercoating & scale. Slow tedious stuff.

More of the same. Have the trunk area about ready to put the fuel tank back in.

orphan?

i've been putting this together. not sure what i'll do with it.

Sliced off the portion that I needed, to fix the left corner, from the section I got from YY1 and trimmed and welded it together. Now both sides match.

Getting ready for bodywork . . . stripping the panel down to bare metal . . .

Got most of the major metal work done on the car, now it's time to start on the bodywork . . . got this panel stripped down to bare metal, and I'm working on some of the welds to get them smooth, dilling in some pin holes that I'm finding, and hoping that it'll be smooth enough to aid in the bodywork . . .
