Correct push rod length ?

Hi everyone I am finally building the 440 need to know what length push rod to use. Here is the set up mechanical flat tappet cam old school isky rockers 915 heads felpro head gaskets I was going with the 9.250 but I was told I should use 9.300 I wanted to know what you guys are running and works thank you

Maybe beg, borrow, steal, or buy a single. Determine off that one what you need for your particular application.
 
not knowing how much things have been milled, valve install heights etc, you really need to measure with a checking push rod. it'll save you money in the long run.
 
3X on the checker. Proper valve train geometry is essential for a good, long lasting engine and valve train. Besides, if you've never done it before, it's a great learning experience. There's always lots of help right here on FBBO.
