Hey there hows it going to all. Happy Easter. Ok so I'm in the process of my resto on my 66 and now working on my steering column. So I need to replace the lower steering column seal but I see in order to do that I have to remove the lower steering coupler. Can I please get some help on how to do this? Is it pressed on? I've included links with a pic of the seal and coupler. Thanks in advance

Should be able to open up the crimped over tangs on the retainer. I try to leave one long side as is and open up the others just enough to lift the cover and seal. There may also be a small pin to deal with on one of the small sides to remove the outer can. Inside you'll have a couple shoes and a clip. The shoes locate on a pin pressed in the shaft you'll need to press out.
Rebuild kits are available. The retainer tends to be a pain to secure. A spring clip that retains the retainer is also available if you can't get the crimps to work.

Probably similar to this.............

Does anyone know what the correct coupler rebuild kit is for this one? It's the same setup mine has but I'm missing one of the two coupler shoe springs.
